 We had to change the design of the large house because UPS keeps lowering the maximum size that can be shipped Ground. By making it with a flat roof we were able to make the house smaller without taking away interior space from the cat.
House consists of 2 modules that simply stack on top of one another. Overall dimensions are 21"x21"x40"H on the outside and inside each module measures aprox. 16"x16"x12"H. House is completely insulated and has carpet on all interior surfaces.The floor is vinyl with removable carpet on top. There are 2 upgraded doors one at each level and there is an opening in the floor for Kitty to travel up and down on the inside. The house is heated by a 100 watt infared bulb that screws into a recessed light fixture in the ceiling of the top module. There is an adjustable thermostat mounted on the wall so the bulb only comes on when heat is needed. The top module has an access door to read the thermometer mounted on the back wall and to adjust the thermostat.THEN THERE IS A HEATED PAD ON THE BOTTOM LEVEL. The roof of the house is painted hunter green and the rest of the house is left natural and finshed with a clear penetrating sealer.
