THIS IS THE LAST ONE WITH THE OLD-STYLE PEAKED ROOF, ONCE THIS ONE IS GONE THEY WILL BE FLATOPS BECAUSE UPS CHANGED THE SIZE LIMITS FOR GROUND SHIPPING. Though this house is insulated and warm in the winter it is designed to be as cool as possible in the summer. This is a large house measuring 21"x21"x25"H on the outside and 16"x16"x13h" on the inside. To be cool it has no carpet, instead the walls are Cedar (A natural flea and insect repellant)and the floor is vinyl. The exterior siding and trim are Cedar. The roof is made of a durable composite material and stained the color of Cedar. This house has the standard door(wood frame & transparent vinyl flap).The front opens for easy access and cleaning.This house also includes the Marine Varnish Clearcoat.
The Solar fan will remove the house air up to 5 times per minute. You can close the vent in the winter time to keep the heat in. You can locate the house so that the solar panel faces south to get the sun and the other side of the house is in the shade. There is extra insulation in the attic to keep out the heat. Or FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE you can detach the solar panel and locate it in a very sunny spot and locate the house in a very shady spot. There is an extra 8ft cord included for this purpose.
